Sony Ericsson is predicting 20-megapixel camera phones by 2012
Sony Ericsson predicts camera phones will soon feature 20-megapixel snappers and full HD video capture, in news sure to have standalone digital cameras and camcorders cowering.
That’s the exciting prediction from a recent Sony Ericsson press conference, where a slide was shown illustrating that mobiles will not only feature up to 20-megapixels, but full 1080p HD video camcorder capabilities too.
Other features emerging from Sony Ericsson’s crystal ball included super slick screen resolutions and turbocharged 100Mbps Internet connections.
But don’t get too excited as we’ll have to wait four more years just to see if these predictions come true.

Facebook phones not a way to connect to Facebook but be a part of it !
The latest development in the world of technology is that in Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona some phones were unveiled which did not act like a device to connect to Facebook but seemed like it was part of the social networking site. These phones which became famous as the “ Facebook Phones” created quite a show as people really liked the way it was designed to be a part of Facebook.
Facebook phones did not have any official logos on the hardware to suggest that they catered to the social networking site mainly but the buttons and the software in the phone suggested something else. In one of his speeches Mark Zuckerberg had said that he dreamt of a world were all the people would be each other’s Facebook friends and these phones are a stepping towards that goal.
HTC have come up with two such models of the Facebbok phone, one which has a keyboard is called as Cha Cha and the touchscreen is known as Salsa. A lot of companies are coming out with phones catering specially to Facebook. Mark Zuckerberg said that more phones are on its way. Small companies like INQ phones are making tones of money with the new Facebook revolution.

Flying F160 Quad SIM Phone – world’s first 4 SIM card cell phone

This Flying F160 is the world’s first Quad SIM card, quad standby mobile phone. Quite why you’d need four SIM cards in your phone is another matter, although I suppose for permanent travellers this could save a bunch of time swapping out cards when you cross a border.
The rest of the spec is pretty so-so, with a 2 inch touchscreen, TV & FM radio, 0.3 mp camera and a choice of colors. Priced, however, at a very reasonable $75.00 unlocked.
Who needs a quad SIM phone? Frequent travelers, people who want different numbers for work and personal life, and…let’s face it…people with lots and lots of extramarital affairs and general pimps of the nation. The F160 uses four GSM cards. As a a fully unlocked quad band phone, you can use the Flying F160 to make calls anywhere in the world. Typing messages is quick and easy with the QWERTY keyboard, and navigating through menus is a breeze with the 2.0″ touch screen.
